On October 10th, the 6-day workshop concluded at Women Now for Development Centre in the Bekaa, marking a powerful milestone for local and refugee women ready to transform their futures.
Thirty women had gathered to train on advocacy for economic agency, engaging in immersive, hands-on activities designed to upgrade their skills. Together, they explored new tools to mastering their own resources, building financial literacy, and stepping confidently into their ambitions as independent owners of small businesses.
Throughout the week, the center buzzed with discussion, shared ambitions, and the exchange of innovative ideas. Participants tackled real-world challenges, learned how to advocate for their financial rights, and gained practical strategies to turn their entrepreneurial visions into sustainable realities.
As these inspiring women return to their communities, they carry not just new knowledge and refined skills, but a renewed sense of confidence and solidarity. This is more than just the end of a workshop—it is the beginning of countless success stories, proving that when women invest in their economic independence, entire communities rise with them.
